Abigail 'Abi' Harding is an English musician, best known as the saxophonist and backing vocalist for the indie-alternative rock band The Zutons, which formed in Liverpool in 2001. Born in 1982 in Bristol to an evangelical priest, she overcame bullying during her school years in Liverpool and a severe car accident at the age of 16, which resulted in a broken spine. Before joining The Zutons, she performed karaoke in Liverpool pubs and earned recognition for her vocal talents. Her entry into The Zutons was facilitated by the band's drummer Sean Payne, to whom she is engaged. She quickly became a full member, with her saxophone becoming an integral part of the band's sound. Alongside her musical career, Harding has been recognized as a fashion icon and was listed by 'For Him Magazine' as one of the world's sexiest women in 2007.
