Chris Langdon

Chris Langdon (born 1952) is an American artist based in Los Angeles known for her work in various media including painting, sculpture, graphics, assemblage, photography, film, and video. A California Institute of the Arts alumnus, her films often employed humor and cultural tropes to critique and satirize contemporary art trends. Her works include 'Bondage Boy' (1973) and 'Love Hospital Trailer' (ca.1975). Langdon ended her initial filmmaking around 1976 and retired from art in 1994 but returned to painting in 2008.
