Pete Waterman

Peter Alan Waterman OBE DL, born 15 January 1947 in Stoke Heath, Coventry, Warwickshire, is an English record producer, songwriter, DJ, television personality, and president of the Coventry Bears rugby league club. A member of the Stock Aitken Waterman team, he wrote and produced many hit singles. He briefly managed The Specials and worked with artists from the Philadelphia scene to Jamaican reggae stars. Waterman owns historic and commercial railway collections, has created model railway layouts, and is committed to railway apprenticeships and charitable work within this field.
