Eugene Hartzell

Eugene Hartzell (1932-2000) was an American composer known for his contributions to chamber music and solo instrumentals, among others. Educated at Yale University and in Austria, he gained significant recognition, including the Music Prize of the City of Vienna. Besides founding the Ensemble Wiener Collage, he was also involved with the Austrian Radio and became an honorary member of the Austrian Composers' Association.
