Russell Pritchard

The Zutons are an English indie rock band from Liverpool. They were formed in 2001 and originally consisted of Dave McCabe (vocals, lead guitar), Russell Pritchard (bass), Sean Payne (drums), Abi Harding (saxophone), and Boyan Chowdhury (guitar). The Zutons gained popularity with their unique blend of indie rock, jazz, and blues influences. Their debut album 'Who Killed...... The Zutons?' was released in 2004 to critical acclaim, spawning the hit single 'Zuton Fever.' The band's fame was further cemented with the release of their second album, 'Tired of Hanging Around,' with tracks like 'Valerie' finding international success. The Zutons' distinctive sound, characterized by McCabe's gritty vocals and Harding's prominent saxophone, helped them carve a niche within the British music scene.
